humans who have been accounted mad have always been marginalized or outside the fold. while this affords artists like van gogh, blake or artuad more creative space, others have less purchase. a special education class in texas must be confining on its own. with the presentation of "ghetto awards", such a class would be unendurable. let us instead visit grace, kindness, compassion and love upon these wonderful souls.
